This is pretty amazing. Target is so good at looking at video surveillance, that city, state and federal law enforcement use them to check video footage. Wow.

Switching Careers
Lately, I've been thinking a lot about switching careers. It's not that the company I work for currently isn't great. They are. I have a great boss and the team I work with are top notch. So what's the problem? The job itself. Erratic hours. Constant stress that something is going to go down. It wears on you and I've been doing it for almost a decade.
I've been putting a lot of thought into what I want to do and obviously, I'm going with what I love. Video and web content creation are tops on my list. Video editing I can do pretty well. Web design needs work but I'm trying things and seeing what I can do.
On kind of a sideway's note, Digg is a great site and it's number one on my daily check these links tabs. It's the kind of place I would love to work if I had the skills and lived in the Bay area. Here's a video they shot of the whole team. Great song and a fun video.

Expelled
My dad forwarded this to me. Looks like it could be pretty good. The movie is about intelligent design and how the science should leave a little room for the God principle. Love that Ben Stein is the "host" of this documentary. The reason why I like this is that he is not a "christian." So many times, people reject it because a "christian" made it.
As I've spoken about before, I have often struggled with my faith and how science and faith cross paths. I am also a firm believer in what Einstein said about it..."Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind."

Gold Vs. Dollar
The above link has a pretty good video about the Gold Standard which our currency was originally based off of. I do not know how correct it is but it does make a convincing argument.
